Londonderry Fish & Game Club constructed training ranges to ensure uninterrupted access to general membership facilities. These ranges are restricted to specific formal training purposes and are not available for general use or personal use.

Ranges at Londonderry Fish & Game Club, Inc., designated as "TRAINING RANGE(S)," are to be used solely for courses, classes, training, and clinics. The training ranges will not be available for general membership use except during sanctioned events approved by the Club Leadership.

All training range use request should use the new 2025 Traning Range Use Request Form.

INSURANCE REQUIRED

Before using any training ranges, instructors must provide LFGC Leadership with a valid certificate of insurance that specifically covers instructional shooting activities. Training cannot begin until this certificate of liability insurance is submitted. The document must also list Londonderry Fish & Game Club, Inc. as an additional insured party or Certificate Holder. For outside non-member instructors, the insurance carrier must send the certificate directly to LFGC.

COURSE CONDUCT OUTLINE

Every instructor shall provide to LFGC a course conduct outline FOR the course to be taught. (The course conduct outline does not need to contain the actual curriculum material, but the operational protocols of how the range will be controlled, what safety protocols will be observed) when/how firearms are handled, clearing stoppages/double-feeds, reloading of magazines, Safety/Emergency plan.

INSTRUCTOR CREDENTIALS

Instructor shall provide details relevant to firearms instruction, experience and/or credentials such as IALFE, SAFTEA, NRA, USCCA, Sig Academy, Smith & Wesson, etc. In some specific instances, Club Leadership reserves the right to challenge the competence of an Instructor who may or may not teach classes on LFGC ranges for purposes of safety.

SCHEDULING

First come First served. Due to demand, LFGC training ranges have minimum student requirements: 25-Training Range – 4 students;  50-Training Range – 6 students; 15-Training Range – 4 students. Requests shall be submitted a minimum of four (4) weeks prior. Instructors shall fill out the Range Event form provided by leadership. No courses will be scheduled more than eight (8) weeks in advance, without prior Board approval. No more than two courses within  a 16 week period shall be scheduled without Board or Officer approval.

While LFGC does not charge fees to use training ranges, a fee may be assessed for clean-up depending on the extent of any refuse, trash or excessive debris left at the conclusion of the class.

A modest donation to the club is always welcome and encouraged.

When scheduling conflicts occur, LFGC reserves the right to move a class to an alternate range. While this is extremely rare, Leaders will never cancel a class due to a schedule conflict but will make an alternative suitable arrangement.

CANCELLATIONS

It is absolutely frowned upon for any Instructor who schedules a class  then cancels the class within 3-5 days. Any Instructor who cancels a class 3-5 days prior to the class date, will be required to provide a course roster containing the range minimums 14 days prior to the class. Three Course cancellations within 3-5 days prior to the class, will result in denial of training range scheduling and use.

CLUBHOUSE USE

For Classroom use in the Musquash Center Clubhouse, a fifty-dollar ($50.00) fee will be required for use up to eight (8) hours.

MARKETING AND PROMOTION

LFGC only promotes events endorsed by the Board and Officers. Instructors must market and plan their own courses. All scheduled classes will be added to the website's calendar with an enrollment link. LFGC will not be responsible for writing course descriptions.

PROHIBITED PRACTICES

None of the training ranges shall be used by any member who is an instructor under the guise or pretext of conducting a class for other non-class purposes.  Member/Instructors found to be using the range for a “friends and family,” range day, will be barred from all future use. The training ranges are in demand by other instructors therefore, using the ranges for personal use is discouraged.  Subverting the Training Range purpose will lead to permanent preclusion for use.

OTHER LIMITED USES PERMITTED

When Classes are not scheduled or taking place on the training ranges, Active Law Enforcement, Licensed Armed Security, Active Duty (Deployable) Military may request to make use of the training ranges by contacting a Board Member or Club Officer.

I am looking for a place to sight in my hunting rifle. What are your fees for me to do that?

LFGC does not offer public use. Londonderry Fish and Game Club is a private (member-only) 501 C (7) organization. As such, to charge a for fee use of our ranges would create an ancillary commerce structure and liability for taxation. Moreover, due to insurance structuring and risk management, we do not engage in commercial efforts. One alternative is for that person to find a member who would be willing to bring that person as a guest.

Where am I on the waiting list?

LFGC does not give out that information. The simple reason is we would be getting a dozen calls per day asking the same question. Club Officers and directors are not full time. They are not paid salaries and are splitting their time between duties of the club and their personal lives.

How do I get on the waiting list?

Membership Term begins January 1 of each year and ends December 31 of that same year. Every year we will fill open membership spots of members who do not renew, so we never know how many open spots we will have each year. Open membership spots are filled from the wait list which usually opens March 1st and is open until we reach 200 people. This usually happens in less than 24 hours. FYI: The wait list is purged every year and does not carry over to the next year.

I'm not receiving email or notices from LFGC?

If you are using a FREE email address such as Yahoo, hotmail, gmail, AOL etc, remember to always check your spam folder. Most of these mail services are anti-gun folks and most of a our emails go to spam in many cases and sometimes they simply don't deliver it to you at all. It is your responsibilty to check your spam as LFGC cannot be responisible for what your email provider does with the email once we send it. This includes the waitlist notifications, if you use a free email service and our notifications for the waitlist goes to spam, this is not our problem.

Why do you only open your waiting list for a short period of time?

In past years, LFGC has had more than 600 people on the list. During the COVID 19 period, we had only 44 memberships to offer. Still, we have an average of 60 to 110 memberships to offer annually. Membership is based on how many members we can accept within our membership cap. It doesn’t seem fair to give false hope to people and have them languish for years on the list. And of course, the list will grow with each year.

Do you have an indoor range?

No. LFGC does not have any indoor facilities.

Participate in our Club pay back program

The CMP offers the Club Pay Back Program to affiliated clubs where $5.00 per competitor will be awarded to any CMP Affiliated Club that has 5 or more of their members attending and participating in the marksmanship competition matches held at the event. The club members will need to present his or her club ID card at any of our Travel Games.

“The First Shot” newsletter

The official CMP newsletter titled The First Shot is an online publication that provides updates on new CMP programs and changes as well as information about major events like the annual National Matches.

AIR PELLET PURCHASE PROGRAM

The former government program that issued surplus government smallbore ammunition to DCM-affiliated clubs free of charge ended in FY2000 when supplies of surplus government smallbore ammunition were exhausted. The CMP replaced this program with volume-purchase commercial contracts that continue to make attractively priced ammunition that is especially suitable for junior marksmanship training available.

All CMP affiliates, regular and special, are eligible to buy unlimited quantities of this ammunition if they sponsor youth marksmanship training. These .22 cal. rimfire ammo, air rifle pellets and BBs are sold at CMP costs that are kept as low as possible by making volume purchases.

CMP Affiliate Rifle Purchase Program

The CMP Affiliate Rifle Purchase Program is a CMP program in which CMP-affiliated schools, junior clubs, teams and camps can purchase .177 cal precision and sporter air rifles, and .22 cal smallbore rifles for target training and competition by beginning to intermediate level shooters. These rifles also may be purchased through the CMP delayed payment plan that allows purchaser to distribute payments over a two-year span.

Be Part of the Marksmanship Clinic Program

In one of the CMP’s older programs, instructional clinics are offered by affiliated organizations so that individuals in their areas can fulfill the CMP marksmanship participation requirement to become eligible to purchase CMP rifles. Many of these clinics, in fact, are called “Garand Clinics.” These local clinics also provide firearm safety training and an introduction to target and range firing for large numbers of adult and junior shooters.

The CMP provides instructional materials and low-cost ammunition for the clinics. Last year, 117 of these clinics were sanctioned by the CMP and provided instruction to over 1,800 individuals.

To help clinic sponsors promote their clinics, the CMP posts current lists of all sanctioned clinics on Competition Tracker. When the clinic sponsor provides a report on how many people attended the clinic, the CMP will provide certificates of clinic completion that these individuals can then use to verify completion of the marksmanship participation requirement necessary to purchase a government surplus rifle from CMP.

Sanctioned CMP Games Matches

Over the years, Sanctioned CMP Games Matches have grown in number and popularity.  The CMP introduced the John C. Garand Match as a National Matches event in 1999. This innovative competition is restricted to commonly available M1 Garand rifles in “as-issued” condition. It features a course of fire that can be completed by shooting sports enthusiasts who do not have formal target shooting experience, but it is still challenging to experienced competitors. The match was an instant success and demonstrated how rifle competitions that appeal to recreational target shooters have the potential to become very popular. The Garand Match quickly grew from just over 300 competitors in its first year to become the National Matches biggest single event at nearly 1,400 plus competitors.

In 2002, the CMP introduced two new events that feature the same principles as the Garand Match. A new Springfield and Vintage Military Rifle Match at Camp Perry attracted over 600 competitors in just its second year. A new Rimfire Sporter Rifle Match now offers a national event at Camp Perry and a fast-growing series of club matches. The CMP designated all of these mass-appeal competitions as “CMP Games” events. To make these matches available at the club level, the CMP sanctions Club Garand Matches as well as Club Springfield, Vintage Military Bolt Rifle, Carbine and Rimfire Sporter Matches.

The CMP has also added theVintage Sniper Match to its Garand-Springfield-Military (GSM) lineup, featuring two-person teams firing scoped vintage rifles at distances of 300 and 600 yards.

Excellence-in-Competition (EIC) Pistol & EIC Rifle Matches

The most prestigious and coveted marksmanship awards in the U.S. are the Distinguished Badges that are won in EIC competitions. The EIC Program establishes competition standards, maintains individual shooters’ records, award points toward the Distinguished designation and presents the badges and medals. Distinguished status requires earning 30 points in a series of “leg” competitions that could span several years of challenging competitive shooting. Only CMP-affiliated organizations may apply to conduct EIC matches. A list of EIC Matches can be found on Competition Tracker.

M1 Garand Rifle Sales Program

Qualified U.S. citizens who are members of a CMP-affiliated club may qualify for the purchase of an M1 Garand rifle. M1 rifles are graded and priced according to condition. The CMP also sells some types of .22 cal. target rifles that were procured by the military for training.

A New Hampshire Nonprofit Corporation

Reviewed and Revised April 3rd, 2018

Pursuant to the provisions of the New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated, Chapter 292, Section 7, the undersigned corporation, pursuant to votes duly taken by its Board of Directors and by its membership, hereby amends and restates its Constitution and By- Laws by deleting the current Constitution and Bylaws and adopting in place thereof the following amended and restated Constitution and By-Laws.

The undersigned, being persons of lawful age, associate under the provisions of the New Hampshire Revised Statutes Annotated, Chapter 292, Section 7 by the following articles:

ARTICLE I: NAME OF THE ORGANIZATION

(A) The name of the organization shall be the Londonderry Fish and Game Club, Inc., referred to as the “LFGC”.

(B) The existence of the LFGC will be perpetual.

(C) The mailing address of the LFGC is: PO Box 229, Londonderry, NH 03053.

ARTICLE II: PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION

The purposes, for which the LFGC is formed, and the objects and business to be carried on and promoted by it are as follows:

(A) To promote the conservation and restocking of our forests and waters insofar as they relate to the bests interests of hunting and fishing.

(B) To promote the proper understanding and use of firearms, archery skills, hunter safety skills, and the correct use of fly and bait casting rods.

(C) To encourage co-operation between sportsmen and property owners.

(D) To promote goodwill and true sportsmanship as it relates to all sports and to other civic activities.

(E) The LFGC is irrevocably dedicated to and operated exclusively for nonprofit purposes; no part of the income or assets of the LFGC shall be distributed to, nor inure to the benefit of, any individual.

(F) The LFGC is organized exclusively for community service and educational purposes as specified in Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, and shall not carry on any activities not permitted to be carried on by an organization exempt from Federal income tax under IRC 501 (c) (3) or corresponding provisions of any subsequent tax laws.

(G) No part of the net earnings of the LFGC shall inure to the benefit of any member, trustee, director, officer of the LFGC, or any private individual (except that reasonable compensation may be paid for services rendered to or for the LGFC), and no member, trustee, officer of the LGFC, or any private individual shall be entitled to benefit from the dissolution of the LGFC.

(H) No substantial part of the activities of the LFGC shall be carrying on propaganda, or otherwise attempting to influence legislation (except as otherwise provided by IRC 501 (h)) or participating in or intervening in (including the publication or distribution of statements), any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidates for public office.

(I) In the event of dissolution, all of the remaining assets and property of the LGFC shall, after payment of the necessary expenses thereof, be distributed to such organizations as shall qualify under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or corresponding provisions of any subsequent Federal tax laws, or to the State of New Hampshire or local government for a public purpose, subject to the approval of a Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New Hampshire.

(J) In any taxable year in which the LGFC is a private foundation as described in the IRC 509 (A), the organization shall distribute its income for said period in such time and manner as not to subject it to tax under IRC 4942, and the LFGC shall not (i) engage in any act of self-dealing as defined in IRC 4943 (3), (ii) retain any excess business holdings as defined in IRC 4943 (C), (iii) make any investments in such a manner as to subject the LFGC to tax under IDC4944, or (iv) make any taxable expenditures as defined in IRC 4945 (D) or corresponding provisions of any subsequent Federal tax laws.

ARTICLE III: OFFICERS OF THE CLUB AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

(A) The “Officers” of the Club shall consist of a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary, and a Treasurer. Officers shall be chosen by ballot annually at the January Meeting. Officer’s terms shall be up for election on a two (2) year rotating basis. The President and the Secretary seats shall be voted on in the same year, The Vice President and the Treasurer shall be voted on in the following year. The Officers of the Club shall hold their office for a term of two (2) years, and/or until their duly qualified successors are elected.

*** NOTE: JANUARY 2019 WILL START CYCLE. President and Secretary elected will start 2 year cycle and Vice President and Treasurer will be elected for 1 last 1 year term

(B) The “Board of Directors” for the Club shall consist of nine club members in good standing. Directors shall be elected by ballot at the January meeting for three-year terms on a rotating basis, three each year.

(C) No member shall hold more than one office in the same year, except that a duly elected Officer may also serve as a member of the board of directors.

(D) At no time shall the President and the Chairman of the Board be the same person.

(E) All nominations for Officers and Board Members shall be made in the December meeting. Once nominations are closed they shall not be opened again until the following year, except for Special elections, pursuant to Article IX.

(F) No member shall hold office in the club until after one year from date of membership.

(G) Officers shall be required to serve upon election by the membership, unless such office becomes vacant pursuant to Article IX.

(H) The rules may be suspended only by unanimous consent and a voice vote may be recorded in lieu of a written ballot.

ARTICLE IV: CLUB EMPOWERMENT

The LFGC is empowered:

(A) To buy, own, sell, assign, mortgage, or lease any interest in real estate and personal property and to construct, maintain, and operate improvements thereon necessary or incident to the accomplishment of the purposes set forth in ARTICLE II hereof.

(B) To borrow money and issue evidence of indebtedness in furtherance of any or all of the objects of
The Club, and to secure the same by mortgage, pledge, or other lien on the LFGC’s property.

(C) To do and perform all acts reasonably necessary to accomplish the purposes of the LGFC.

ARTICLE V: DUTIES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

(A) The Board of Directors shall be the governing body of the LFGC.

(B) The Board must ratify by a majority vote all changes to the By-Laws of the LFGC with the consent of the membership. Moreover, the Board shall determine that all bylaw changes are not inconsistent with the provisions of IRC 501 (c) (7) or any applicable Federal or State laws governing nonprofit organizations. Any revisions which may cause the Club to lose its status under IRC 501 (c) (7), shall be deemed void ab initio and unenforceable.

(C) The Board of Directors shall annually elect a presiding Chairperson to govern and direct the meetings of the Board. All contracts, notes, bonds, certificates of indebtedness, bills of sale, deeds, mortgages, and leases of the Club exceeding $10,000 shall be signed by the Chairperson of the Board of Directors with the approval of the Board of Directors.

(D) The Board of Directors shall meet from time to time as is mutually agreeable. The Chairperson of the Board or any three Directors may call a special Board Meeting.

(E) The original Directors and the term for which each will serve are set below. All terms shall commence with on the date of the filing hereof with the Secretary of State and shall continue until the date set below or until his or her successor shall have been elected and qualified.

ARTICLE VI: DUTIES OF THE OFFICERS

(A) The President shall preside at all meetings of the club, preserve order, and endorse the Bylaws of the Club. He shall be a member of all committees ex-officio, and shall have the casting vote in case of any tie. He shall have the power to order the Secretary to call a meeting at his initiative or when requested by five or more members in good standing. All contracts, notes, bonds, certificates of indebtedness, bills of sale, deeds, mortgages, and leases of the club exceeding $10,000 shall be signed by the President. The President shall appoint Range Officers to supervise public and club shoots. He shall perform such other duties as are required by his office.

(B) The Vice President in the absence of the President shall perform all the duties of the President. The Vice President shall perform liaison duties to other organizations and governments. Unless otherwise delegated, the Vice President shall be permanent chairperson of all committees for public events held by the Club. He shall annually audit the accounts of the Treasurer.

(C) The Secretary shall keep true minutes of each meeting, read and preserve all documents and correspondence, issue all notices of meetings, and conduct all official correspondence. Secretary shall receive and keep a record of all membership applications and renewals and shall perform such other secretarial duties as the Board of Directors or the President shall direct.

(D) The Treasurer shall be the primary financial officer of the Club. Treasurer shall receive all monies due the club and shall disburse monies for payment of all proper bills and obligations of the club with the assent of the President. The Treasurer shall keep an accurate accounting of all club funds received, invested, and disbursed for any purpose and will present at each monthly meeting a summary accounting of all monies received and paid out. The Treasurer shall submit his books and accounts for audit when requested by the President or Vice President or director.

ARTICLE VII: MEMBERSHIP

(A) Any person, that is qualified to hold a New Hampshire Fishing and/or Hunting License, and that is not a prohibited person (18 U.S.C. § 922[g][1-9], 18 U.S.C. § 922[n], 18 U.S.C. § 922[d]) shall be eligible for membership. To determine that the member is not a prohibited person, he/she must present one of the following items as proof:

(1) A valid N.H. Pistol and Revolver License;
(2) A receipt from a federally licensed Gun dealer for the purchase of a firearm within the last three months and the receipt contains the name and address of the purchaser;
(3) An active and valid Notary Public/Justice of the Peace commission;
(4) N.H. Hunter Education valid and current Instructor Card;
(5) Professional Licensure where the State requires a criminal records check;
(6) Federal Firearms License (FFL) (Dealer);
(7) Class III documentation containing the prospective member’s name and address;
(8) Federal C&R License;
(9) Law Enforcement ID.
(10) Background Check through New Hampshire D.O.S

(B) The term of membership shall be “annual” and shall run from January 1st to December 31st. Members may renew from September 15th through November 30th of each year. On December 1st, members not having renewed shall be deemed as "late". “Late” members may renew, but shall include a late fee as determined annually by club officers. Any late member not renewed by midnight on December 31st shall be deemed to have forfeited membership. Forfeited members subsequently seeking membership shall enroll themselves on the club wait list.""

(C) Memberships shall be available as “REGULAR”, “SENIOR”, “JUNIOR”, “HONORARY” or “ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY”. Honorary and/or Active Duty Military memberships may be granted at any regularly scheduled club meetings and assented to by at least one Officer and one Board member.

(D) Regular Members are those members between ages eighteen (18) and sixty-four (64) who pay full dues. Regular members enjoy all privileges such as the right to vote, and have no exemption from obligations such as work parties.

(E) Senior Members are those sixty-five years of age and older. Senior members are exempt from obligations such as work parties.

(F) Junior Members are those under age of eighteen. Junior members are not eligible to vote, and are exempt from obligations such as work parties.

(G) Active Duty Military/AGR Members are those members serving full time in any branch of the US military.

(H) Honorary Memberships, on motion of an Officer or Board member, may be granted by majority vote for a fixed term where dues are waived.

(I) The Board of Directors from time to time may evaluate and adjust the membership cap (limit).

ARTICLE VII-a MEMBERSHIP CONDUCT

(A) In consideration for being granted membership to the Londonderry Fish & Game Club, Inc., The member shall agree to be bound by, and comply with all bylaws, club rules and duties imposed by holding such a membership.

(B) Violation of Range Rules, Bylaws or other actions or behavior that are not consistent with the club purpose, against the interests of the club and its members, or any act or omission that imposes liability on the club shall be deemed sufficient as good cause and reasonable grounds for any Officer, Director or Range Officer to suspend a member and direct said member to leave the club property. In such cases where a member is suspended, the following shall apply:

1. Said suspension shall remain in effect until such time as the member adjudicates the suspension through an appearance at a regular club meeting. The suspended member shall have up to three subsequent consecutive club meetings to appeal the suspension and to request a vote of the membership on the suspension.

a. Such an event shall be referred to As a “Special Club Administrative Proceeding” and shall be presided over by the President, the Vice-President in the case the President is the suspending officer.
b. No Club Officer shall preside over any proceeding under this section if that Officer is the imposing Officer.

2. The Officer imposing the suspension, or another Officer in the case of the Officer’s absence, shall state plainly, the facts, which caused him to suspend the member.

3. Upon submission of the facts by the suspending officer to the membership present, the
Member shall have a full opportunity to rebut the officer’s action either by oral presentation, witnesses, if any or the like. A time limit of 15 minutes will be imposed. Members and Officers may ask questions following presentation. Presiding club officer will then close the discussion and entertain a motion to vote.

4. The membership present may vote to do one of the following:

a. Dismiss the suspension of the member without prejudice;
b. Dismiss the suspension with prejudice or subject to later review;
c. Impose a period of suspension;
d. Impose a probationary period;
e. Terminate the membership of the member.

5. At the fourth club meeting following the suspension of a club member where no request has been made by the suspended member, to adjudicate the suspension, the member shall be deemed to have waived his or her right of provisions as set forth in the bylaws and the club member shall be considered voluntarily resigned forthwith, with forfeiture of any claim to any dues paid for the year.

6. Any member resigned under the aforementioned provisions shall not be eligible for future reinstatement as a lapsed member, but must reapply for membership in the same manner as a new member.

ARTICLE VIII: MEETINGS

(A) Meetings shall be held once each month at a time, date, and place to be selected by the officers.

(B) The Annual Meeting shall be held in January for the election of officers. Newly elected officers shall be installed at the January meeting.

(C) A quorum of ten regular members in good standing shall be required to transact business at a monthly or annual meeting.

ARTICLE IX: RESIGNATIONS AND REMOVAL FROM OFFICE

Resignation of officers shall be submitted to the President, Chairperson of the Board, or at a monthly meeting in writing and made part of the minutes of record. The Board of Directors shall elect a new Chairperson as need requires, but shall fill any vacancies on the Board of Directors at the next annual meeting by ballot.

(A) A special election shall be held by ballot at the next monthly meeting to fill any non-board vacancy.

(B) Officers and Board members serving shall not be removed from office, except for good cause shown. Such “good cause” shall be defined as:

(1) Failure to perform official duties of office resulting in detriment to the club;
(2) Loss of good standing as a club member;
(3) Abuse of Office to the detriment of the club or its members.

(C) Any member in good standing, at any monthly meeting may make a motion to initiate an Officers removal from office, but only after stating with specificity the reason or reasons for such a motion. The motion shall not be voted upon until a discussion is entered into the record. Only after such discussion will the motion be tabled until the next monthly club meeting.

(D) In the case of removal from office for good cause shown, The Board of Directors, by the club secretary, (if the officer to subject to such removal is the secretary, then the President or Vice President) shall send to the Officer subject to such motion, notice via certified first class U.S. Mail, return receipt requested within three days of the motion. The officer shall respond on or before the next scheduled meeting, either orally or in writing.

(E) Such notice shall state with specificity, the reasons for the foregoing action pursuant to Article IX (b) of the Club Bylaws. Such notice shall afford the subject officer an opportunity to be heard and to defend, before the membership at the next monthly meeting.

(F) A subsequent vote of two-thirds of the members present, providing there be a quorum, shall either remove the officer or defeat the action. The rules shall not be suspended by unanimous consent for the vote and a roll call vote will be recorded into the meeting minutes.

(G) If the officer to be removed fails to respond to the notice given by the board within the time specified therein, it shall be deemed by default that the officer has resigned and so recorded into the record.

ARTICLE X: AMENDMENTS TO THE BYLAWS

(A) These Bylaws shall be amended only by a two-thirds vote of the eligible members at a monthly meeting and shall subsequently be approved by a two-thirds vote of the Board of Directors.

(B) Any motion to amend or repeal a bylaw shall be made at a monthly meeting, and shall be tabled until the following monthly club meeting. The Club Secretary shall notify all members not in attendance upon such a motion.

(C) Any member in good standing may make a motion to amend a club rule at any scheduled Club meeting. Any adoption, amendment or rescission of any rule by the members shall be adopted only by majority vote.

ARTICLE XI: MEETING DECORUM

In all questions of Parliamentary procedure arising at any meeting, Roberts Rules of Order shall govern. In the case of disputes concerning interpretation of these Bylaws or the Rules of Order, the Secretary shall rule, subject to appeal to the Board of Directors.

ARTICLE XII: CAPITAL STOCK AND MEMBERSHIP CERTIFICATES

The LFGC shall have no capital stock and no shares. Members in good standing will be issued an expiration-dated membership card or certificate.

These Amended and Restated Constitution and By-Laws supersede the original Constitution and By-Laws and all amendments thereto.

  1. APPLICABLE HUNTING LAWS: Londonderry Fish & Game Club is situated in Wildlife Management Unit M. All Fish & Game laws pertaining to hunting, baiting fishing and firearm use shall apply.

  2. LICENSES REQUIRED: All Hunters, Trappers or Fishermen shall possess the appropriate and specific Hunting, Trapping and/or Fishing Licenses for any and all game being hunted, trapped or fished on club property.

  3. BAITING RULES: Baiting requires written permission from LFGC leadership and all State baiting rules apply.

  4. GUESTS HUNTING: Members bringing guests for hunting activities shall be responsible for their guests.

  5. TREE STANDS: Tree stands may not be placed on Club property prior to August 20. Tree stands placed on Club property shall be removed no later than April 15 of each year. Any Tree stand found on club property after April 15 may be treated as abandoned and removed by club leadership as such.

  6. MEMBERSHIP BADGE: Members hunting on Club property shall have their membership badge in their possession at all times.

  7. HUNTER HARASSMENT: Any member hunting on club property and encounters any instances of Hunter harassment are advised to call the Conservation Officer to make a report. Please report such incidents to club leadership. No persons shall interfere with any hunting, trapping, or fishing activities on club property.

  8. TRAPPING: Permission to Trap required. Trapping license required. No persons shall interfere with, disturb or otherwise damage traps, trap lines, or bait sites.

  9. FISH & GAME LAWS: Adjudicated law violations shall be sufficient to terminate club membership. All members shall be obey Fish and Game laws, rules and regulations.

  1. GUESTS: Up to four (4) guests on this range.

  2. SHOOTING HOURS: Shooting hours for this range are 8:00 AM until one-half hour after Sunset.

  3. EQUIPMENT USE: All equipment brought to the Archery range shall be in good repair and serviceable. Range shall be inspected prior to use. Recurve, Long bows, compound bows and cross bows are permitted.

  4. SHOOTING: No shooting shall take place until all shooters are behind the shooting line.

  5. RANGE SAFETY: Arrows shall not be nocked to a bow until the line is hot and shooters are ready to shoot. Arrows shall remained quivered when not nocked.

  6. ARROW TYPES: Only target arrows shall be used on the Archery range on targets provided by LFGC. Broadheads shall NOT be used, unless a Broadhead target is brought or otherwise provided.

  7. EQUIPMENT SAFETY: At no time will any Bow or crossbow be dry-fired on the Archery Range. Arrows shall be properly matched for the particular bow being used.

  8. SAFETY EQUIPMENT: Archery Shooters shall use all appropriate safety equipment specific to Archery shooting.

  1. GUEST: Up to four (4) guest on this range.

  2. THROWING HOURS: Throwing hours for this range are 08:00 AM until one half hour after sunset.

  3. SEASONAL: Due to temperatures and durability of the wooden target this range will be operated only when the temperature is above 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

  4. EQUIPMENT: All equipment brought to the Multi-purpose Throwing Range shall be in good repair and serviceable. Range shall be inspected prior to use.

  5. PREPARATION: The target blocks on the stand shall be sprayed down with water before use and as needed during use. This will increase your chances of a better stick and a longer life of the target.

  6. COLD AND HOT RANGES: No projectiles shall be thrown while people are down range. Throw together and retrieve together.

  7. ALLOWED PROJECTILES: Only hand propelled items allowed, such as throwing axes, throwing knives, throwing cleavers, ninja stars, and spears are allowed. No firearms or archery equipment.

  8. SAFETY: Closed toes shoes required for all on this range.

  9. THROWING: All throwing shall take place behind the throwing line and inside the designated throwing area.

  10. TARGETS: Shall be restricted to wooden target on the range. Playing cards or other paper targets are ok as long as they are adhered to the wood with tapes and removed at the end of use.

  1. GUESTS: A Member may have up to four (4) guests on this range.

  2. SHOTGUNS ONLY: No rifles that utilize a standard rifle cartridge, or pistols shall be used on the Sporting Clays Range.

  3. AMMUNITION RESTRICTED: Only Shotgun cartridges containing Small game steel or lead shot shall be used. NO Buckshot or Slugs shall be used at any time.

  4. EQUIPMENT USE AND SAFETY: Clay throwers shall be used exercising due care and diligence at all times. Members shall make use of the provided printed instructions when using the sporting clay throwing machines.

  5. EQUIPMENT DANGER: At no time shall the Clay Throwing Machines be left in the armed position when shooting is concluded.

  6. TARGET MEDIA: No other target media, other than clay pigeons and patterning targets shall be used on this range.

  7. FACILITIES USE: Shotgun shells shall be removed from the range by the member when shooting has concluded. Shells shall NOT be discarded in any burn barrels. Burn Barrels are for Cardboard and Wood ONLY. No plastic, clay pigeons or other materials.

  8. EQUIPMENT CARE: Members shall return machine equipment to the equipment shed at the conclusion of their shooting.

  9. SHOOTING HOURS: Shooting hours for this range shall be 8:00 AM to one-half hour after sunset.

  1. GUESTS: up to four (4) guests allowed on this range.

  2. TARGET PLACEMENT: Targets shall be placed as close as practical to the backstop berms and centered up and down when billboards are not being utilized.

  3. BIRDSHOT USE PROHIBITED: No birdshot shall be used on the 50 and 100 yard range at any time. Buckshot and Slugs ONLY.

  4. RANGE OPERATION: No shooters shall move forward of the firing line to shoot from any point or position in the area commonly known as, "No Mans Land." All firearms use shall be from the shooting sheds ONLY. It shall be the sole responsibility of the member to ensure all projectiles impact the berm.

  5. NOVELTY TARGET USE: Novelty targets shall not be placed on the ground. No targets shall be placed in “No-Mans Land.” Used targets shall be taken down when shooting is concluded. Please refer to the list of prohibited target use items.

  6. TANNERITE USE: Tannerite use shall NOT exceed one-half (8 ounces) pound.

  7. CLASS III/NFA FIREARMS: No fully automatic firearms shall be used on these ranges. Firearms equipped with binary triggers shall not be used on these ranges. Suppressors are acceptable for use on these ranges.

  8. SHOOTING HOURS: Shooting hours for this range are 8:00 AM until one-half hour after Sunset.

DANIEL LEE DUPRAT MEMORIAL RIFLE RANGE
200/400-YARD RANGES AT LFGC

  1. GUESTS: Only two (2) Guests shall be allowed to accompany a member.

  2. RANGE SPECIFIC SHOOTING HOURS: Shooting Hours on the 200 and 400 Yard Ranges are from 8:00 AM to SUNSET.

  3. FIREARM CRITERIA: No firearm shall be used on the 200/400 Yard range that lacks the capability to effectively reach the backstop berm. Every member using the 400 Yard range shall ensure the firearm used is first effectively sighted for 100 yards.

  4. STATIC FIRING LINE: No shooters shall move forward of the established firing line for any shooting purposes. All shooting shall be conducted at the established firing line. No target media shall be placed in no-mans land.

  5. IMPROPERLY SIGHTED FIREARMS: Properly sighted in and zeroed firearms shall be used on the 200/400 Yard Ranges. Club leadership reserves the right to dismiss shooters from the range causing repeated ground strikes.

  6. NO SHOTGUN USE: No shotguns shall be used on the 200/400 Yard Range at any time. No pistols, handguns and or rifles with a barrel less than fourteen inches shall be used on the 200/400-Yard Range at any time.

  7. RIMFIRE RESTRICTIONS: No rim fire ammunition shall be used on the 200 Yard Range, except for 17 HMR, 17 Mach 2, 22 WMR fired from a rifle with a barrel length fourteen inches or greater. No rimfire firearms or ammunition shall be used on the 400 Yard Range.

  8. FIREARM OPERATION: Firearms shall not be rapid-fired at any time on the 200/400 Yard Range. “Rapid fire” is defined as firing in a fast and continuous manner without obtaining proper sight alignment and sight picture for each shot.

  9. TARGETS: Targets used on the 200/400 Yard range shall only be appropriate steel targets designed for the express purpose and paper targets affixed to the Billboards. No other targets shall be used without prior consent of the Club Leadership.

  10. RANGE OPERATIONS/CONDUCT: Shooters driving vehicles down to the target area to set targets shall remain on the established gravel road. Any member whose vehicle leaves the gravel road shall be suspended. Vehicles returning from the berm have the right-of-way.

  1. GUESTS: A Member may have up to four (4) guests on this range.

  2. USE OF NOVELTY TARGETS: Novelty targets (plastic bottles, soda cans, clay pigeons, etc.) shall not be placed on the ground or on the target stand bases. It shall be the sole responsibility of the member to ensure bullets impact the berm. (Refer to list of items prohibited from use on LFGC Ranges)

  3. TARGET FRAMES AND TARGETS: Used targets shall be taken down and carried out when shooting is concluded. Target frames and stands shall be returned to the hanging racks when shooting is concluded. Shooters will clean up and remove all targets, shells and brass when range use is concluded.

  4. DYNAMIC FIRING LINE USE: Shooter(s) may stand closer to targets when alone and/or when all shooters agree to move forward of the firing line. Shooters who move forward but then fail to yield the range when asked, will face disciplinary action.

  5. CLASS III/NFA FIREARMS: Fully automatic firearms using common handgun cartridges are permitted on the 25-yard utility range. Other types of fully automatic firearms (Class III) are permitted only on the 50-Yard Utility Range.

  6. DEVICES OTHER: Semi-automatic firearms using a mechanical device that simulates full automatic fire, or a binary trigger shall be effectively controlled at all times.

  7. SHOOTING HOURS: Shooting hours for this range are 8:00 AM until one-half hour after Sunset.

  8. TANNERITE USE: All Tannerite use is prohibited on the 25-Yard Utility Range. Tannerite use is permitted on the 50-Yard Utility Range, NO MORE THAN 8 ounces. (1 cup).

833px PDF file iconThese rules are the GENERAL RANGE RULES consisting of Administrative and specific rules for all ranges at LFGC. PLEASE REFER TO THE SPECIFIC RANGE RULES of each range at each range location.

  1. RANGE USE AND GUESTS: Ranges are for club member use only and up to four accompanied guests, UNLESS otherwise specified on a particular range.

  2. CONTROL OF GUESTS AND JUNIOR MEMBERS: Members shall be in full control of their guests at all times. Junior members shall be supervised by an adult aged 18 or older.

  3. TRAINING RANGES: Training ranges are off limits for general member use and are reserved for courses, classes and clinics. Use of these ranges shall be only by permission of Board and Officers.

  4. GENERAL AND SPECIFIC RANGE RULES: All range rules shall be followed. All members shall observe Rules specific to the particular range being used by them.

  5. HEARING PROTECTION AND EYE PROTECTION: All members, guests and observers within the immediate vicinity of the ranges shall possess and wear appropriate hearing and eye protection.

  6. NOVELTY TARGET USE: Novelty Targets shall be removed by the shooter immediately when shooting is concluded. (Refer to the list of items prohibited for use on LFGC Ranges). Empty Alcohol containers are prohibited from being used as targets on all LFGC ranges. Novelty Targets shall only be used on those ranged where allowed.

  7. SHOOTING HOURS: Shooting hours are posted at each range.

  8. FACILITIES USE: At no time will any persons climb any of the berms without prior permission of the Club leadership. At no time will any persons tamper with, or alter the drainage systems for the any range. Firing at any drainage system will be considered a rule infraction and will cause the range to be closed. Members shall remove all targets, spent brass and shells, and target media upon conclusion of their range use.

  9. RULES ENFORCEMENT: The range officer, when designated, any elected club officer, or any member of the board of directors may, at any time, ask any person to leave the range, or close the range. Any member may call an officer or director to report a safety violation.

  10. MUZZLE CONTROL: Firearms muzzles shall be maintained in a safe direction at all times.

  11. FIREARMS HANDLING: All uncased and un-holstered firearms shall remain unloaded with actions open when people are forward of the firing line. No firearms shall be handled when people are forward of the firing line, to include the packing and unpacking of firearms.

  12. MAGAZINE LOADING: When any range is in a cold condition, The loading of detachable Magazines may only be done OFF of the firing line.

  13. COLD AND HOT RANGES: The handling of firearms shall only take place during a hot range condition. No firearms shall be handled during a cold range condition. No firearm may be packed or stored away during a cold range condition.

  14. AMMUNITION HAZARD: Tracer ammunition shall not be used on the any ranges when conditions are excessively dry or potential fire hazard conditions exist.

  15. ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES/CONTAINERS PROHIBITED No alcoholic beverages or empty alcohol containers are permitted on any LFGC ranges. No impaired persons shall be permitted on any range.

  16. TANNERITE USE ON RANGES: Each Member shall check the range specific rules for use of Tannerite Binary Exploding Targets.

  17. MEMBERSHIP BADGES: Members shall possess display their club membership badge while on club premises. Any Officer or any Club member may request to see the badge at any time and the membership card shall be produced for inspection.

  18. EMERGENCIES. All serious injuries and accidents shall be reported promptly to a club officer or board member.

Membership Term begins January 1 of each year and ends December 31 of that same year. Every year we will fill open membership spots of members who do not renew, so we never know how many open spots we will have each year. Open membership spots are filled from the wait list which usually opens March 1st and is open until we reach 200 people. This usually happens in less than 24 hours. FYI: The wait list is purged every year and does not carry over to the next year.

If you are using a FREE email address such as Yahoo, hotmail, gmail, AOL etc, remember to always check your spam folder. Most of these mail services are anti-gun folks and most of a our emails go to spam in many cases and sometimes they simply don't deliver it to you at all. It is your responsibilty to check your spam as LFGC cannot be responisible for what your email provider does with the email once we send it. This includes the waitlist notifications, if you use a free email service and our notifications for the waitlist goes to spam, this is not our problem.

Where am I on the waiting list?

LFGC does not give out that information so don't ask. The simple reason is we would be getting a dozen calls per day asking the same question. Club Officers and directors are not full time. They are not paid salaries and are splitting their time between duties of the club and their personal lives.

Why do you only open your waiting list for a short period of time?

In past years, LFGC has had more than 600 people on the list. During the COVID 19 period, we had only 44 memberships to offer. Still, we have an average of 60 to 110 memberships to offer annually. Membership is based on how many members we can accept within our membership cap. It doesn’t seem fair to give false hope to people and have them languish for years on the list. And of course, the list will grow with each year.
